Brooks Pierce attorney Ryan Fairchild has joined the board of directors at The Children’s Museum of Wilmington, according to a news release.
Located downtown in 17,000 square feet, the museum aims to provide a safe and fun place where children can actively learn through creative and imaginative play, with an emphasis on hands-on science, math and art activities, officials said. Fairchild’s practice includes a particular interest in the esports industry. He represents players, content products and stakeholders in a variety of contract and licensing issues. He also represents domestic and international clients in state and federal litigation, including in complex business, intellectual property and constitutional matters. A former law clerk, he studied law at the University of North Carolina School of Law and received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University. He is also the father of three children.
