Children’s Museum Announces Endowment Fund Match Challenge

DOWNTOWN WILMINGTON, NC – The Children’s Museum of Wilmington announces that Ned and Margaret Barclay have recently and graciously offered a $25,000 match challenge to The Children’s Museum of Wilmington Endowment Fund. The Endowment Fund was established in 2009 by Ned and Margaret Barclay as a source of permanent funding to support CMoW and is administered by the North Carolina Community Foundation, Inc.

“We first began supporting The Children’s Museum many years ago when we had young grandchildren and saw the benefit of the many different experiences they enjoyed,” states Ned and Margaret Barclay. “We helped establish The Children’s Museum of Wilmington Endowment Fund when we realized that such a fund would give the Museum a perpetual source of needed income into the future.”

On April 24th, CMoW will kick-off its Gift More in 24 Challenge. This 24-hour campaign drive is dedicated to raising funds to match the challenge. For more information, please visit www.PlayWilmington.org/Endowment-Match.
