"Community Day is our opportunity to give back to a community that so graciously supports us throughout the year,” said CMoW Executive Director Jim Karl. “We look forward to having many of our long-time friends, and hopefully some new faces, join us for an afternoon of learning through play.”
“The Children's Museum of Wilmington is incredibly grateful to the entire Wilmington area for supporting us for over 20 years. The Museum is clearly playing a very important role in this community by providing children a safe environment where they are learning through play,” said CMoW Director of Development Heather Sellgren. “We are very appreciative to all of the community businesses and organizations who are partnering with us to make Community Day a fun event for all!”
The Museum is partnering with local organizations to make this as big of a success as it was in 2018. Last year, CMoW welcomed more than 600 guests in a single day which was the record number of patrons at the Museum. To learn more, please visit https://www.playwilmington.org/communityday2019
